How to log in to Massar: step by step

Key rule first: you cannot create a Massar account yourself. Your school issues your credentials, since the account is linked to your national academic record. You receive either a Massar Code + initial password (e.g. G123456789) or a school email in the format CodeMassar@taalim.ma.
Open the official portal:massarservice.men.gov.ma — always check the address contains men.gov.ma
Enter your credentials: Massar Code or taalim.ma email (exact capitals, no spaces) + password
First login: set a strong new password (8+ characters, mixed case, number, symbol) and register a recovery email
Forgot your Massar password?
By email: "Forgot password" on the login page → enter your Massar Code alone → a new password is sent to your registered email (check spam)
By personal data: full name, birth date and academic details, plus a new valid email

What Massar is and who uses it
Massar is Morocco's national school management system, run by the Ministry of National Education. It brings together in a single database the school records of every pupil in the Kingdom, from the first year of primary school to the baccalaureate. Rather than a website for checking marks, it is the administrative backbone of the education system.
Four groups use it daily, each through a different space. Students consult their marks, results and absences through Moutamadris. Parents follow their children through Massar Waliye, using the student's credentials. Teachers enter marks and record attendance in Massar Prof. School administrations validate the marks and manage enrolment. Above them, provincial directorates and regional academies oversee the system and organise examinations.
Every student receives a Massar Code, a unique identifier that stays with them throughout their schooling. It does not change when they move school, because it belongs to the student rather than to the institution. This code is the key to every service described on this site.

Not every function is open at all times. Guidance preferences appear only during the official window, and marks show only once the teacher has entered them and the administration has validated them.
The official addresses, and how to spot fakes
Only two addresses give access to Massar, and both belong to the government domain:
massarservice.men.gov.ma — the general platform
moutamadris.men.gov.ma — the student and parent space
Baccalaureate results are additionally published on bac.men.gov.ma, and the school e-mail service runs through taalim.ma. Any other address is unofficial, whatever it claims.
Around examination periods, fake sites and applications appear promising early access to results. The warning signs are consistent: a request for payment, a demand for your phone number or a verification code, an address that does not end in men.gov.ma, or an application not published by the ministry. Massar is entirely free, and no legitimate service will ever ask you to pay to see your marks.
🛡️ Never share your Massar Code or password, and never enter them on a page reached through a link received on WhatsApp or Facebook. Type the official address yourself.
When something goes wrong: who to contact
Knowing where to take a problem saves considerable time. The chain of responsibility is straightforward.
A technical problem — slow site, page not loading, expired session — usually resolves itself. Wait and try again, ideally early in the morning.
A login problem — forgotten password, locked account — is handled through the recovery procedure, then by the school if that fails.
A wrong mark is corrected by the teacher who entered it, through the school administration.
Incorrect personal data — name, date of birth, level — requires an administrative correction at the school, with supporting documents.
An unresolved administrative issue goes to the provincial directorate, but only after the school level has been exhausted.
One rule holds throughout: the platform itself has no help desk for individual cases. Every correction passes through your school, because that is where the data is entered and validated.
